Prayer Meetings

Overview
Each year, Interfaith prayer meetings are held on special days to commemorate:
- October 2nd: Special all-religion prayer meetings are held for Gandhi Jayanti to promote communal harmony.
- January 30th: Special interfaith prayer meetings are conducted to observe Gandhi Punyatithi (Martyr’s Day).
- April 11th: Kasturba Jayanti Day is observed to celebrate her life and immense contributions.
- February 22nd: Kasturba Gandhi’s Punyatithi (death anniversary), features memorial prayers at her Samadhi.
- January 1st: The society celebrates the Jayanti (birth anniversary) of Mahadev Desai with commemorative prayers.
- August 15th: Marks the Punyatithi of Mahadev Desai, observed alongside Independence Day flag hoisting ceremonies.
- January 26th: Republic Day is marked with patriotic ceremonies, including flag hoisting, to honor the nation’s constitution and democratic values.
